A Brief History of Modern Wholesale Supply Co.
Robert Schwalb helped found Modern Living Radi-Heat in 1957 when the
company sold only boilers and radiant heat packages. In 1969, Robert moved
the business to its current location and changed the name to Modern Wholesale
Supply and expanded the product offering to include air conditioners, furnaces,
and water heaters.
Modern has steadily grown over the years by providing high-quality products and outstanding customer service. The building has been expanded 6 times and now offers over 25,000 square-feet of warehouse space and stocks a wide range of HVAC products.
Modern Wholesale is expanding again, with a large office addition, a state-of-the-art training center, and a new showroom scheduled to open in May, 2011.
